Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Cancellation and Refund Schedule
The following refund rates apply based on the timing of cancellation relative to the check-in date:

The cancellation timeframe is calculated based on calendar days, using the Korean Standard Time (KST, UTC+9) timezone.
Free Cancellation Within 1 Hour
You can cancel free of charge within 1 hour of booking, regardless of check-in date.
Auto-Cancellation for Unpaid Bank Transfers
If you choose bank transfer and do not complete payment within the deadline below, your reservation will be automatically canceled.

2. How to Request a Cancellation
To cancel a reservation, please use one of the following methods:
- Email: Send a cancellation request to dawoohongdae@gmail.com with your reservation code, name, and reason for cancellation.
- Direct Contact: Contact us via the contact method you provided during booking (KakaoTalk, LINE, WhatsApp, etc.).
- Website: If you have an account, you may submit a cancellation request through your reservation management page (if available).
- My Page: After logging in, you can cancel your reservation directly from My Page. The cancellation fee is calculated and displayed instantly.
Please include the following in your cancellation request:
- Reservation code
- Guest name (as provided during booking)
- Reason for cancellation (optional)
Cancellations are processed based on the date and time we receive and confirm your request, not the date of sending. We will acknowledge receipt of your cancellation request within 1 business day.
3. Refund Processing Timeline
Once a cancellation is confirmed, refunds are processed as follows:

Payment surcharges (PayPal 10%, bank transfer 1.5%, on-site card 5%) are included in the refund calculation. The refund amount is calculated on the total amount paid (including surcharges), and the applicable refund rate is applied to the total.
Points and coupon discounts used for the original reservation: Points are refunded to your account. Coupon usage is reversed (coupon may be restored if still valid).
4. Special Circumstances
4.1 No-show
If a guest does not arrive on the check-in date without prior notification, the reservation will be marked as a no-show. No refund will be provided for no-show reservations. The full reservation amount will be charged.
4.2 Early Departure
No refund is provided for early departures (checking out before the originally booked check-out date). The full reservation amount applies.
4.3 Force Majeure
In cases of force majeure (natural disasters, pandemics, government-mandated lockdowns, etc.) that prevent accommodation, we will work with affected guests on a case-by-case basis to offer alternatives such as:
- Full refund
- Date change without penalty
- Credit for future stay
4.4 Service Issues
If you experience a significant service issue during your stay (e.g., room not matching description, critical facility malfunction) that we are unable to resolve, we will consider partial or full refunds on a case-by-case basis. Please report any issues immediately during your stay.
4.5 Third-Party Bookings
For reservations made through third-party platforms (Booking.com, Airbnb, Naver/Yanolja, etc.), the cancellation and refund policy of the respective platform applies. Please contact the platform directly for cancellations.
