Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability.

Dawoohouse operates a self check-in system. Before arrival, we'll send you the door lock password and room information via email or messenger.

We accept PayPal, bank transfer, and on-site payments (cash or card). Please note that PayPal payments include a 10% surcharge, and on-site card payments include a 5% surcharge. Bank transfer and on-site cash payments have no additional fees.

Free cancellation up to 14 days before check-in. 50% refund for cancellations 7-13 days before check-in. 25% refund for cancellations 2-6 days before check-in. No refund for cancellations within 1 day of check-in or no-shows.

Yes, each room has its own individual Wi-Fi for fast and uninterrupted internet access. The password can be found on the white sticker at the bottom of the router on the shelf in your room.

Yes, luggage storage is available. However, there is no dedicated luggage storage area. You can temporarily leave your bags in the corridor with password-protected access. The area is equipped with motion-detecting CCTV.

Take the Airport Railroad (AREX) from Incheon Airport and get off at Hongdae Station. Exit through Gate 3 or Gate 6, and it's about a 5-7 minute walk.

Yes, clean towels, shampoo, body wash, conditioner, toothbrush, and toothpaste are provided. A hair dryer and mirror are also available in each room.

The Two-Room Suite has a small kitchen. Other room types do not have kitchen facilities. However, a shared water purifier is available for all guests, located in the corridor on each floor.

Yes! You receive 3,000 points upon registration (valid for 7 days). You can earn additional points by writing reviews (text: 1,000P, with photos: 2,000P). Points can be used immediately for any reservation. Regular points are valid for 1 year.

Yes. The female dormitory is strictly women-only, with a numeric door code that changes per stay, an individual lockable locker for each bed, motion-detect CCTV in the corridor, and 24-hour multilingual messenger support. Solo female travelers from over 30 countries have stayed here since 2018 and safety is a recurring theme in our 5.0/5 reviews.

Yes, friends of any gender combination can share our private Triple (3 guests), Quad (4 guests), or Two-Room Suite (up to 6 guests). The female-only restriction applies only to the Female Dormitory shared room. For two travelers, the Double Room is the most cost-effective; for two friends who want extra space, the Triple Room works well.

The AREX Airport Railroad (Express or All-Stop) runs from Incheon T2 to Hongik University Station with the last departure around 22:48 from T2 (please verify current AREX timetable). After AREX hours, take the Airport Limousine 6002 bus to Hongdae Hongik University Station Bus Stop (runs until ~01:00), or use a Kakao Taxi (about ₩70,000 to ₩90,000, 50–60 minutes depending on traffic). Since we operate 24-hour self check-in, late-night arrivals are no problem.

Yes. Da-woo House is well-positioned for K-pop venues in the Hongdae and Mapo area: walking distance to AKMU and indie club shows in Hongdae, 1–2 subway stops to Sangsu and Hapjeong (Mapo Art Center, Bluesquare), and one direct subway transfer to Olympic Park (KSPO Dome) or Gocheok Sky Dome. Self check-in means you can return to the guesthouse at any hour after a late concert without waiting for staff.

Host Gunwoo Lee responds personally in Korean and English; the team supports Japanese, Chinese (Mandarin), Spanish, French, and Thai. The fastest messengers are KakaoTalk for Korean guests, WhatsApp for most international guests, Line for Japanese guests, and WeChat for Chinese guests. Email at dawoohongdae@gmail.com is also monitored. Typical response time is under 15 minutes during 09:00–22:00 KST.
